I miss my flock.... but I get to see the Brett Mister soon!
I am heading to Charlotte to attend my first Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) conference today. This fight is not only my fight, but the fight of so many women. Young and old. This cancer does not care about your age, your health, your fitness, or your life. It is a daily mental, emotional and physical struggle. It is relentless.
I don’t say this negatively, but I don’t think I ever knew my life’s purpose. This is not to say I was lost, or my life was meaningless. I just didn’t know how I could leave my footprint. I think I found it. As long as I am alive, I am going to raise awareness and fight for a cure to end MBC. And more importantly, show the world, that having Faith and Trust in God will carry you through the hardest of times.
